Register Now!

Registration is a two-step process:

  1. Select "Register Here" for the event(s) you plan to attend. This will take you to a Google registration form. Once you submit the Google form, you will be asked to complete a Zoom registration.

  2. Zoom Registration. Enter your name and email into the Zoom registration to receive your unique registration code for the event and selected sections.


Creating A Strong Foundation

Centered on Equity

August 3: 8:30 - 3:00

This one-day session will focus on a review of the core elements of a multi-tiered system of supports with a focus on centering equity within Tier 1 systems, data, and practices. Throughout the day, participants will have time to reflect on current practices and identify action steps to promote growth.


Who should attend: Individuals or school teams involved with organizing Tier 1 supports (e.g., PBIS, MTSS). Individuals or school teams interested in enhancing the alignment of high-yield school-wide and classroom practices. This event is open to all schools across the state, regardless of the involvement with PBIS Maryland. This is a Tier 1 refresher training and not a new team training event.

NOTE: if you were registered for the June 21st session you will need to re-register for the August 3rd session.




Tier 2 PBIS Training


August 16th: 8:30 - 3:00

This one-day, virtual, team training event will focus on establishing the systems, data, and practices at the Tier 2 level. Check-in/Check-out will be used to guide action planning aligned to core Tier 2 features. Additional Tier 2 interventions will be introduced.

Who should attend: PBIS/MTSS or School Climate Teams in schools implementing Tier 1 PBIS with fidelity (e.g., TFI Tier 1 score of 70% or higher). New teams must have at least four team members attend, one of whom must be a member of the administrative team, and one of whom is a member of the “Student Problem-Solving Team: (e.g., school counselor, school social worker, or school psychologist). Other members can include individuals with applied behavioral expertise, coaching expertise, knowledge of student academic and behavior patterns, knowledge of school operations across grade levels.






Tier 3 PBIS Training


August 17th and 18th: 8:30 - 3:00

This two-day, virtual, team training event will focus on establishing the systems, data, and practices with Tier 3 support planing. Content will cover considerations of teaming and data sources to identify need, access to Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports, quality of life indicators, academic/social/physical indicators, and evaluation. Additionally, overviews of best practices with complex FBAs/BIPs, Wraparound*, and RENEW* will be provided

Who should attend: Advanced Tier team members in schools implementing Tier 1 PBIS with fidelity (e.g., TFI Tier 1 score of 70% or higher) and having completed the TFI for Tier 2. This training is geared toward staff involved with the identification, evaluation, and intervention planning of high-intensity individualized supports for students. Schools should send least 3 members, one of whom must be a member of the administrative team, and two members of the “Student Problem-Solving Team": (e.g., school psychologists, school counselor, school social worker).
